Meet Nicole M. Barnes
Rev. Nicole M. Barnes, a native of Indianapolis, is an ordained minister and serves as an Executive Director for a national non-profit. With a passion for faith, community, and justice, she leads national voter engagement and grassroots community organizing efforts. She has spoken on global platforms such as the Parliament of the World’s Religions and Faith in Ghana Alliance. She also serves on multiple boards, holds advanced degrees in Business and Divinity, and enjoys sports, music, culture, and time with loved ones.

The Rhetoric of the Black Preaching Tradition, Volume II
A two-volume collection of 29 sermons delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic by preachers within the Black preaching tradition. Through these sermons, the editors explore how clergy addressed their congregations during the crisis, examining how COVID-19 was woven into their messages and what forms—such as womanist, prophetic, narrative, contemplative, or expository—their sermons took in a time of uncertainty.
